Course Details
This course provides initial teacher education for those who wish to work in secondary school classroom settings (Qld Years 7-12), with a humanities focus. It has a distinctive Christian perspective and a strong emphasis on the practical aspects of teaching, combined with extensive study of educational foundations and theory. It seeks to develop reflective professional teachers who possess a well-defined understanding of teaching Christianly.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: 32 units (320 credit points). Students undertake 80 credit points in a major teaching area, and 40 credit points in a minor teaching area. The final year includes an internship.
